About Me
Dr. John F. Payne is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in vitreous and retinal diseases. He treats conditions such as age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and retinal vein occlusions, and is involved in clinical research to advance therapies for these conditions. Dr. Payne completed his fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery at Emory University, where he also served as chief resident.
Dr. Payne is dedicated to providing expert care for patients with retinal disorders and participates in clinical trials for new treatments. He is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Retina Specialists, and other professional organizations.
