About Me
Dr. John Park is an ophthalmologist and lead surgeon at Edison Ophthalmology Associates, which he founded in 2004. He specializes in cataract extraction, advanced multifocal and astigmatic intraocular implants, laser vision correction, corneal transplants (including PKP and DSAEK), and glaucoma surgery. Dr. Park is a Diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
After studying Molecular Biochemistry and Biophysics at Yale University, Dr. Park earned his medical degree at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He completed an ophthalmology residency at St. Vincent Catholic Medical Center in Brooklyn and Queens, where he served as Chief Resident. He then pursued fellowship training in Anterior Segment/Cornea/Refractive Surgery at Tulane University Hospital and Clinic. Dr. Park is dedicated to helping his patients achieve their best visual potential.
