About Me
Dr. Jesse Himebaugh is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in cataract surgery, corneal transplantation, and the treatment of external eye and corneal diseases. He is fellowship-trained in cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery, offering advanced surgical options including LASIK and PRK to correct vision. Patients seek his expertise for a range of conditions affecting the front of the eye, from routine cataracts to complex corneal disorders.
A native of Utah, Dr. Himebaugh completed his undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University and earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. He then pursued an internship in internal medicine at the University of Utah and an ophthalmology residency at West Virginia University. His formal training culminated in a fellowship at the Washington University School of Medicine, where he focused on corneal, external disease, and refractive surgery.
