About Me
Dr. Jeremy Wingard is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in the diagnosis and management of glaucoma and cataracts. He performs advanced small-incision cataract surgery, including premium lenses to correct astigmatism and presbyopia. He has extensive experience with glaucoma surgery, particularly in MIGS (minimally invasive glaucoma surgery) techniques such as Trabectome, XEN gel stent, and 360-degree goniotomies. His practice encompasses the most complex cataract cases and the full range of laser and surgical treatments for adult glaucoma.
Dr. Wingard earned his medical degree from Duke University. He completed his internship in medicine at the University of Washington and then undertook his residency and a glaucoma fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, where he served as Chief Resident. He remains active in glaucoma research and writing, with numerous publications, textbook chapters, and national lectures.
Dr. Wingard is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and maintains affiliations with several professional societies. Outside of his practice, he enjoys spending time with his family.
