Dr. Jeffrey Boyd

Dr. Jeffrey R. Boyd is a board-certified ophthalmologist and the Medical Director of Eye Care of Delaware and the Cataract and Laser Center. With over two decades of experience, he specializes in advanced cataract surgery, including small incision and laser-assisted techniques, and refractive procedures such as LASIK, PRK, and refractive lens exchange. Dr. Boyd is committed to personalized care, utilizing the latest technologies like the Light Adjustable Lens to help patients achieve their unique visual goals.

A Delaware native, Dr. Boyd completed his medical degree at Temple University and his ophthalmology residency at Georgetown University and Washington Hospital Center, where he served as Chief Resident. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and maintains active involvement in ophthalmic societies, frequently lecturing on cataract and refractive surgery.
