About Me
Dr. Andrew Shyu is a board-certified ophthalmologist who provides compassionate, patient-centered care. He operates at the Cataract and Laser Center and the Center for Advanced Surgical Arts (CASA) for patients requiring anesthesia. Dr. Shyu specializes in small incision and laser-assisted cataract surgery, advanced technology lens implants, glaucoma management, and refractive procedures including CustomVue Lasik, PRK, and Refractive Lens Exchange.
Dr. Shyu completed his undergraduate studies at UCLA and earned his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine. He then completed his ophthalmology residency at Temple University. Fluent in Spanish and Mandarin Chinese, Dr. Shyu is dedicated to serving a diverse patient population. He takes a comprehensive approach to medical and surgical eye care, focusing on the individual needs of each patient.
