Dr. Jeffrey Weeks

Dr. Weeks is an ophthalmologist practicing in Auburn and Opelika, Alabama, with a focus on cataract surgery and eye disease management. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is an active fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Medical Association of the State of Alabama, and the Alabama Academy of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Weeks was born in Dothan, Alabama, and grew up in Mobile. His early exposure to ophthalmology through his father's clinic sparked his interest in the field. He pursued a degree in chemical engineering at Auburn University, graduating magna cum laude, before attending medical school at the University of Alabama-Birmingham. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, beginning in 2005, and returned to the Auburn/Opelika area in 2009 to establish his practice.
