Dr. Jason Day

Dr. Jason Day is a fellowship-trained cornea and refractive surgery specialist who provides advanced corneal surgery and precision refractive vision correction at Clay Eye Physicians & Surgeons. He brings comprehensive expertise in complex corneal transplantation, laser-assisted cataract surgery, and cutting-edge refractive procedures including LASIK, PRK, and ICL implantation.

Dr. Day's specialized training enables him to manage a wide range of corneal conditions, from keratoconus and corneal dystrophies to infectious keratitis and corneal scarring. He is certified in the LenSx femtosecond laser system for precision cataract surgery, which allows for exact incisions and lens fragmentation to promote faster healing and superior visual outcomes.

Board eligible in ophthalmology, Dr. Day completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Florida and a cornea and refractive surgery fellowship at Eye Consultants of Atlanta. He is a member of several professional societies, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Cornea Society, and has been recognized with the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and Gold Honor Humanism Award.
