About Me
Jason F. Miles, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist with fellowship training in cornea and external disease. He cares for adults with cataracts and complex corneal conditions, including infections and Fuchs endothelial corneal dystrophy. After earning his medical degree from the Florida State University College of Medicine, he completed an internal medicine internship followed by an ophthalmology residency and a cornea and external disease fellowship at the University of Florida / UF Health in Gainesville. He was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society in medical school and later into the UF Chapman chapter of the Gold Humanism Honor Society for compassionate, patient-centered care.
Dr. Miles believes great outcomes start with listening. He explains diagnoses in clear, practical terms and partners with each person to choose the safest, most effective treatment—whether that means advanced cataract surgery, pterygium removal, or corneal transplantation. A Florida native, he enjoys spending time with his family, surfing, biking, and gardening when he’s not caring for patients.
