About Me
Dr. Ozge Sarac is an ophthalmologist with more than two decades of experience caring for complex corneal and anterior segment conditions. At the University of Florida, she specializes in corneal diseases, contact lens fitting for irregular corneas, cataract and anterior segment surgery, and refractive surgery. Her clinical interests include managing keratoconus, pellucid marginal degeneration, post-LASIK ectasia, and other disorders that affect the corneal surface and clarity. She is committed to patient education and to training the next generation of ophthalmologists through teaching and mentorship.
Dr. Sarac completed medical school and ophthalmology residency at Hacettepe University (Türkiye), followed by subspecialty training in cornea and neuro-ophthalmology. She served as co-director of the National Keratoconus and Refractive Surgery Center in Ankara from 2012 to 2022 and later completed clinical fellowships in Cornea and Neuro-Ophthalmology at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia. An active researcher and author of numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, she also serves as a reviewer for multiple ophthalmology journals.
