About Me
Dr. Jason Goldberg is an ophthalmologist who focuses on the cornea and ocular surface. He cares for people with conditions such as Fuchs’ dystrophy, keratoconus, corneal infections and ulceration, neurotrophic keratitis, and complex anterior segment problems. In addition to medical management, he offers surgical options tailored to each patient’s goals and visual needs, including modern corneal transplantation techniques (DMEK, DSAEK and PKP), cataract extraction with intraocular lens placement, secondary intraocular lenses and repair of anterior segment trauma. He also provides laser vision correction options such as LASIK, PRK and PTK when appropriate.
Patients describe his style as clear, collaborative and practical. He sets aside time to explain diagnoses and trade-offs between treatments so people can make confident decisions. Dr. Goldberg completed fellowship training at the University of Minnesota and earned his medical degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He partners closely with referring optometrists and primary eye care teams to coordinate follow-up and preventive care, with the goal of protecting comfort and vision over the long term.
