About Me
Dr. James Gregoire is a cornea, cataract, and refractive surgeon who focuses on clear communication, meticulous planning, and technology-forward care. He offers the full spectrum of vision correction—from LASIK and PRK to implantable collamer lenses—as well as advanced cataract surgery using femtosecond laser assistance and light-adjustable lens technology to fine-tune outcomes. He also treats corneal disease, including keratoconus, and performs modern corneal transplant techniques with ultra-thin tissue when indicated.
A Massachusetts native, Dr. Gregoire completed ophthalmology residency at Tulane University School of Medicine before pursuing a cornea, cataract, and refractive fellowship with Boston Vision and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He holds a Master’s in Medical Sciences from Boston University and enjoys teaching, regularly lecturing on optics and refractive surgery to residency programs across the region. Patients describe him as approachable and detail-oriented, with a collaborative style that helps each person understand options and choose a plan that fits their vision goals.
