Dr. In Shin

Dr. In C. Shin is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in cornea, cataract, and refractive surgery at Montgomery Eye Physicians. He graduated magna cum laude in mechanical engineering from the University of Alabama – Huntsville and received his Medical Degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in 1999. Dr. Shin completed his ophthalmology residency at Tulane University in New Orleans and pursued additional subspecialty training through a cornea fellowship at the Dean A. McGee Eye Institute at the Oklahoma University Health Science Center in Oklahoma City.

Dr. Shin’s clinical expertise includes DSAEK, EVO ICL, corneal transplantation, no-stitch cataract surgery, advanced surface ablation, refractive lensectomy, LASIK, and glaucoma surgery. He also performs therapeutic and cosmetic blepharoplasty and BOTOX® treatments. Originally from Korea, Dr. Shin and his wife Lee are the busy parents of triplets.
