Dr. John Swan

Dr. John L. Swan is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in cornea, cataract, and refractive surgery at Montgomery Eye Physicians in Alabama. He brings over 25 years of experience in advanced eye surgeries, including DSAEK, corneal transplantation, no-stitch cataract surgery, and LASIK. His expertise has twice earned him recognition as one of the Top 100 LASIK Surgeons in the United States.

Dr. Swan completed his medical degree at the University of Alabama School of Medicine and furthered his training with a residency at the Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation and a fellowship in Cornea and External Disease at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Schools Affiliated Hospitals. He previously served on the faculty at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.

Originally from Mobile, Dr. Swan and his wife Pamela have two children in college. He enjoys sailing and golf and is dedicated to providing high-quality eye care to his patients.
