Dr. Hsien Wen Su

Dr. Daniel Su is a Partner and Senior Consultant at Eye & Retina Surgeons, Camden Medical. He was previously Senior Consultant in the Glaucoma Service and Deputy Head of the Training & Education Department at the Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC). He attended medical school at the National University of Singapore (NUS), where he graduated with the degrees of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, and during his ophthalmology training he became a Member and later a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore.

Dr. Su furthered his glaucoma subspecialty training with a fellowship at the Duke Eye Centre (Duke University Health System) in Durham, North Carolina, under the mentorship of pre-eminent glaucoma specialists. He is actively involved in ophthalmology research, having authored several publications in leading peer-reviewed journals and previously held a research grant from the National Medical Research Council. He has also made significant contributions to medical education, having been appointed Senior Clinical Lecturer and Associate Program Director for the Singhealth Ophthalmology Residency Program.

His clinical practice encompasses general ophthalmology, cataract surgery, and the management of adult and childhood eye diseases, with a particular focus on the diagnosis and treatment of all forms of glaucoma. He is experienced in a range of glaucoma procedures and employs up-to-date imaging techniques to aid diagnosis and follow-up of treatment.
