About Me
Frank C. Young III, M.D. is a second-generation ophthalmologist following in the footsteps of his father Frank C. Young Jr. He attended Auburn University in Auburn, Ala. and received a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. Dr. Young earned his medical degree from University of Alabama School of Medicine and completed his internship at Methodist Medical Center at Birmingham and his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Eye Foundation Hospital Combined Program.
Dr. Young is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, Alabama Medical Association and Montgomery County Medical Society. As a comprehensive ophthalmologist, Dr. Young provides a full spectrum of medical and surgical eye care at Montgomery Eye Surgery Center.
