Dr. Evelyn Fu

Dr. Evelyn X. Fu is an ophthalmologist specializing in vitreoretinal surgery, providing expert care for retinal diseases at Cascade Eye & Skin Centers. She offers specialized retina consultations for both new patients and those returning for follow-up care at her clinics in Puyallup and University Place, Washington.

With a strong academic foundation, Dr. Fu graduated summa cum laude from the University of Richmond and with honors from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. She completed her ophthalmology residency at the Cleveland Clinic and a vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at California Pacific Medical Center. Dr. Fu is actively involved in the ophthalmology community, authoring medical publications and serving on the editorial board of the British Journal of Ophthalmology.

Committed to innovative research and education, Dr. Fu aims to enhance patient outcomes through evidence-based practices. Outside of her practice, she enjoys adventure travel, outdoor activities such as hiking and biking, and is an avid reader with interests in history, philosophy, psychology, and fine arts.
