About Me
Dr. Lee Maxine Kiang is an ophthalmologist who specializes in retinal surgery and vitreoretinal disorders. She completed her fellowship at the Casey Eye Institute-OHSU, a top retinal surgery program, and is board certified in ophthalmology. Dr. Kiang believes in providing compassionate, patient-centered care and emphasizes education to empower her patients in making informed decisions about their eye health.
She grew up in New York City and has a doctorate in cell biology, along with a background in sculpture. Dr. Kiang moved to the Pacific Northwest for her training and appreciates the natural beauty of the region. She is married to another ophthalmologist and chose to join Kaiser Permanente due to its focus on preventive care.
Outside of her practice, Dr. Kiang enjoys hiking, paddleboarding, music, travel, and spending time with family to maintain a balanced lifestyle.
