About Me
Dr. Evan D. Schoenberg serves as the Director of Refractive Surgery at Georgia Eye Partners, where he is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist specializing in advanced vision correction. He offers expertise in cataract surgery, LASIK, PRK, ICL, and refractive lens exchange, as well as corneal treatments such as transplantation and crosslinking for conditions like keratoconus. Dr. Schoenberg has been recognized as one of America's top 100 ophthalmologists by Newsweek and is a Top Doctor according to Atlanta Magazine and Castle Connolly.
He employs the latest technology, including topography-guided bladeless LASIK and implantable lenses, to customize treatment plans for each patient's visual goals. Dr. Schoenberg leads the refractive keratoconus clinic, providing options like corneal crosslinking and topography-guided PRK. With specialized experience in Descemet’s Membrane Endothelial Keratoplasty (DMEK), he performs advanced corneal transplants that promote faster recovery and better vision.
Dr. Schoenberg completed his undergraduate degree summa cum laude in neuroscience at Vanderbilt University and earned his medical degree from Emory University. He trained in ophthalmology at Tulane University, serving as chief resident, and completed a fellowship at the Price Vision Group. Active in professional societies, he is committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals in the Metro Atlanta area.
