About Me
Ernest Puckett, MD, specializes in cataract surgery and the medical and surgical treatment of glaucoma. He offers advanced lens options for cataract patients, including astigmatism-correcting and presbyopia-correcting intraocular lenses, and is experienced with traditional glaucoma procedures as well as minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS). Dr. Puckett studied biomedical engineering at the University of Texas at Austin and earned his medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine, where he graduated at the top of his class and was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha. He completed ophthalmology residency at the UCLA Jules Stein Eye Institute, received a senior resident teaching award, and stayed on to complete a glaucoma fellowship. Outside the clinic, he and his family enjoy exploring the Pacific Northwest, biking, and camping.
