About Me

Dr. Ian Danford is a cataract, glaucoma and advanced anterior segment surgeon who enjoys helping patients see—and live—more comfortably. He offers the full spectrum of cataract care along with minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) and complex anterior segment reconstruction, including iris repair and scleral-fixated intraocular lenses. Patients describe his style as thoughtful, evidence-based and easy to understand.

A Davis, California native, Dr. Danford earned his M.D. at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, where he also completed a Master of Translational Research (MTR). He completed ophthalmology residency at the Casey Eye Institute (OHSU) and a fellowship in glaucoma and advanced anterior segment surgery at the John A. Moran Eye Center, University of Utah. Outside clinic he enjoys time with family, cycling and outdoor sports around the Pacific Northwest.
