Dr. Nisha Nagarkatti-Gude

Dr. Nisha Nagarkatti-Gude is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in comprehensive eye care, with advanced fellowship training in the medical and surgical management of glaucoma. She is highly skilled in performing complex cataract surgeries, laser procedures, and various glaucoma treatments, ensuring that patients receive precise and effective care for their vision needs.

Her extensive education includes an undergraduate degree from Harvard College, followed by M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from the Medical College of Virginia. She completed her ophthalmology residency at the Casey Eye Institute/Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) and pursued further sub-specialty training in glaucoma at both OHSU and the Devers Eye Institute, equipping her with deep expertise in managing challenging eye conditions.

Outside of her practice, Dr. Nagarkatti-Gude lives in the Portland area with her husband and two sons. She enjoys savoring a good cup of coffee, exploring local cuisine, making music with her children, and traveling, which reflects her balanced approach to life and patient care.
