Dr. Elizabeth Dale

Dr. Elizabeth A. Dale is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in glaucoma and related disorders. She focuses on both medical and surgical management of glaucoma, including glaucoma laser procedures, traditional glaucoma surgical techniques, and state-of-the-art minimally invasive glaucoma surgery. Dr. Dale also performs cataract surgery.

Dr. Dale joined Ophthalmic Partners in 2015 after completing a clinical glaucoma fellowship through the prestigious Bascom Palmer Eye Institute at the University of Miami. She is an Attending Physician on the Glaucoma Service at Wills Eye Hospital and a Clinical Instructor of Ophthalmology at Thomas Jefferson Medical College, where she is responsible for clinical and surgical training of residents and fellows. She lectures locally and nationally and serves as an instructor for the American Academy of Ophthalmology’s annual trabeculectomy surgery course.

Dr. Dale strives to develop strong relationships with her patients to foster a collaborative environment. She incorporates traditional glaucoma interventions as well as the latest technology to provide care that is tailored to the needs of each individual. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Glaucoma Society, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, Greater Philadelphia Ophthalmic Society, and Women in Ophthalmology.
