About Me
Dr. Keith J. Mathers is a fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist and board-certified ophthalmologist. He specializes in general ophthalmology, cataract surgery, and glaucoma treatment, performing cataract surgery, laser-assisted cataract surgery, and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery. Dr. Mathers is a member of the staff at Lankenau Medical Center and the Wills Eye Mainline Surgery Center.
Dr. Mathers graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a degree in Biomedical Engineering. He earned his medical degree at Jefferson Medical College, completed an Internal Medicine internship at Abington Memorial Hospital, and then trained in ophthalmology at Temple University Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident. He completed a glaucoma fellowship at Duke University Eye Center and has served as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Temple University Hospital. Dr. Mathers is a Diplomate and Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
