Meet Dr. Michael J Pro

Dr. Michael J. Pro is a board-certified ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive care for glaucoma and cataracts. He has extensive experience in the full spectrum of glaucoma treatment and surgeries, including state-of-the-art minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) often combined with cataract surgery. Dr. Pro also performs cataract surgery using the latest femtosecond laser technology and offers a wide range of premium intraocular lenses to tailor visual outcomes to each patient's needs.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Pro serves as an Associate Surgeon at Wills Eye Hospital and an Assistant Professor at Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University. He is actively involved in training future glaucoma specialists as a preceptor in the Wills Eye Hospital Glaucoma Department Fellowship program and has been the course director for the annual Glaucoma Update at Wills Eye Hospital for over ten years. Dr. Pro has also published research on novel glaucoma surgical techniques and devices.
