About Me
Dr. Eddie Kadrmas is a board certified ophthalmologist and retinal specialist with over 18 years of experience. He earned his medical degree from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the UND Graduate School. He completed his internship and residency in ophthalmology at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine, followed by a vitreoretinal fellowship at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary and Harvard Medical School, as well as a post-doctoral research fellowship at the Schepens Eye Research Institute.
Dr. Kadrmas specializes in surgical and medical retina, managing conditions such as macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, uveitis, and retinal disorders. He has been serving patients in Plymouth, Southeastern Massachusetts, and Cape Cod for over 16 years, where he has contributed to innovations in surgical techniques.
He continues to serve as a clinical instructor in ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School and is on the staff of several area hospitals. Dr. Kadrmas also serves as an editorial board member and reviewer for peer-reviewed ophthalmology journals.
