Dr. David Dance

Dr. David Dance is an experienced ophthalmologist and surgeon who provides comprehensive eye care to patients in the Coeur d'Alene area. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and completed his residency at Oregon Health and Science University. Dr. Dance treats a wide range of conditions including cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, uveitis, and pterygium, as well as eyelid disorders.

After training, Dr. Dance worked as a general ophthalmologist at Kaiser Permanente Northwest for four years before moving to North Idaho in 2013. He now practices at the North Idaho Eye Institute, where he has built a busy clinical and surgical practice. Dr. Dance is dedicated to helping patients maintain and restore their vision, both locally and through annual surgical mission trips to Guatemala.
