About Me
Dr. Daniel Churgin is a fellowship-trained, board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in medical and surgical diseases of the retina and vitreous. He is highly skilled at performing the latest surgical techniques for repair of retinal detachments, epiretinal membranes, macular holes, diabetic tractional detachments, and many other vitreoretinal diseases. He also specializes in the medical treatment of age-related macular degeneration, retinal vascular occlusions, and diabetic retinopathy.
Dr. Churgin provides a great blend of knowledge, warm personality, and a strong desire to provide compassionate patient care for his hometown community. He was born and raised in Tempe, Arizona, and is fluent in Spanish. He is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
