About Me
Dr. Sharam Danesh is a retina specialist with extensive clinical and surgical experience in the treatment of retinal diseases. He has performed thousands of surgeries and has been an investigator in many clinical trials, providing access to advanced therapies for his patients.
He received his education and training from prestigious universities in Canada and the United States. His training includes a fellowship in medical and surgical diseases of the retina at the University of Iowa, a residency in ophthalmology at the University of Ottawa Eye Institute, and medical school at the University of British Columbia. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and a Fellow of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
Dr. Danesh has been a vitreoretinal surgeon in Phoenix since 2004, performing over 400 retinal surgeries each year. He previously served as an assistant professor of ophthalmology at Queens University in Canada. He is also the past president of the Phoenix Ophthalmological Society, demonstrating his leadership in the field.
