Dr. Madhavi Kurli

Dr. Madhavi Kurli is an ophthalmologist practicing in the Phoenix metropolitan area. She specializes in the medical and surgical care of retinal disorders and cancers of the eye.

Dr. Kurli completed her ophthalmology residency at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, where she received the ‘Best Outgoing Resident’ award. She then pursued two advanced fellowships at the same institution in vitreoretinal surgery and ocular oncology. Her medical education was completed in India, and she also trained in ophthalmology in the United Kingdom.

She has authored journal articles and book chapters on the diagnosis and treatment of uveal melanoma and has presented her research at national and international meetings. Dr. Kurli is a member of the American Society of Retinal Specialists, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the International Society of Ocular Oncology, and the Royal College of Ophthalmologists.
