Dr. Daniel Jewelewicz

Dr. Daniel Jewelewicz is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist specializing in the medical, laser, and surgical treatment of glaucoma, as well as cataract surgery and anterior segment procedures. He has been providing care to patients in southeast Florida since 1999, focusing on advanced techniques such as minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) and the use of advanced technology lenses to reduce dependence on glasses. Dr. Jewelewicz is known for his expertise in surgical technique and instrument design, having developed widely adopted methods for glaucoma surgery.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Jewelewicz is actively involved in teaching and research. He holds faculty positions at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and the Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University, and has taught ocular surgery at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. He serves on the board of the Glaucoma Research Foundation and has authored numerous scientific articles and book chapters. His work has been recognized with several prestigious awards, including being named a New York Times Super Doctor and one of the Top Ophthalmologists in America.

Dr. Jewelewicz is committed to giving back to the community through volunteer work with organizations like EyeCare America and the Caridad Institute, providing care to those in need. Outside of medicine, he is an award-winning artist and musician, and he remains dedicated to serving his patients with honesty, integrity, and the highest level of expertise.
