About Me
Dr. Alma Mas-Ramirez is a board-certified ophthalmologist with fellowship training in glaucoma. She provides comprehensive glaucoma care, including careful diagnosis, individualized treatment plans, laser therapies, and surgical management when needed. She also offers modern cataract surgery, using up-to-date techniques and technology to help patients see more clearly.
Originally from Puerto Rico, Dr. Mas-Ramirez earned a B.S. in Biology from the University of Puerto Rico–Mayagüez and completed medical school at the University of Puerto Rico–Medical Sciences Campus, where she was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha. She served as a clinical research fellow at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, completed ophthalmology residency training in Puerto Rico, and then pursued a glaucoma fellowship at the Kresge Eye Institute at Wayne State University. After relocating to South Florida, she joined the team at Eye Associates of Boca Raton, where she focuses on helping patients protect vision and preserve quality of life through attentive, patient-centered care.
