Dr. Dalia Girgis

Dr. Dalia Girgis is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in comprehensive eye care. She focuses on managing and treating dry eyes and blepharitis, cataracts, glaucoma, and retinal diseases. Dr. Girgis is passionate about helping patients achieve their best vision through cataract surgery using premium technology, including advanced intraocular lenses. Her goal is to provide personalized care and a customized treatment plan tailored to each patient's needs.

Dr. Girgis completed her undergraduate degree at Louisiana State University and earned her Doctor of Philosophy in microbiology from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. She then received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. After an internship in internal medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center, she completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she served as chief resident. Since relocating to South Florida in 2014, Dr. Girgis has practiced comprehensive ophthalmology in Fort Lauderdale and founded the Insight Eye Institute.
