About Me
Dr. Eric D. Medina is an ophthalmologist and the founder of Radiant Eyes of Boca. Raised in Boca Raton after being born in New York City, he is committed to delivering world-class eye care with a friendly, personal touch.
Dr. Medina graduated summa cum laude from the University of Florida, completing a thesis on drug development for diabetes and earning honors including Phi Beta Kappa. He completed medical training at the University of Pennsylvania and ophthalmology residency at the University of South Florida in Tampa. In practice, he focuses on advanced cataract surgery, modern glaucoma care, and minimally invasive glaucoma techniques, along with comprehensive eye exams and virtual visits when appropriate.
Active in ophthalmology professional societies and involved in FDA-approved clinical trials, he also enjoys teaching and mentoring future ophthalmologists. He welcomes patients in both English and Spanish.
