Dr. Cynthia Xin Ya Qian is an ophthalmologist and vitreoretinal surgeon who has been serving patients at the University of Montreal since 2015. She specializes in complex retinal conditions and is an expert in retinal dystrophy, including the surgical implantation of retinal chips and prostheses. Her surgical expertise helps patients with advanced retinal diseases regain or preserve vision.

As the Director of the Electrophysiology Laboratory and the Pediatric Retina Service, Dr. Qian provides comprehensive care for both adults and children.
