Meet Dr. Clinton Ellingson
About Me
Dr. Clint Ellingson is a board-certified retina specialist who diagnoses and treats conditions that affect the retina and vitreous, including diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, vascular occlusions, and uveitis. He also provides surgical care for complex retinal problems, with interests that include retinal detachment repair, removal of persistent floaters, macular hole and macular pucker repair, and treatment of ocular trauma.
Dr. Ellingson earned a biochemistry degree from the University of Utah and completed his medical degree at Penn State University. He completed ophthalmology residency at the University of Kentucky and went on to a two-year vitreoretinal fellowship at the University of Kentucky and Retina Associates of Kentucky. He has participated in clinical research and presented at professional meetings. In clinic, Dr. Ellingson emphasizes thoughtful planning and clear communication, especially for time-sensitive retinal and trauma-related conditions.
