About Me
Dr. Clayton Kirk is a vitreoretinal surgeon who treats the full range of medical and surgical retina conditions, from diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration to complex retinal detachments. He combines advanced microsurgical skills with thoughtful counseling, so patients understand their diagnosis, the recommended procedure, and the recovery milestones ahead.
Dr. Kirk completed ophthalmology residency at Loyola University Medical Center and a two-year vitreoretinal surgery fellowship with Associated Retina Consultants in Phoenix, where he trained in complex macular and retinal detachment repair, secondary IOL placement, and management of symptomatic floaters. He is now seeing patients in the Quad Cities and welcomes urgent referrals as well as routine consultations.
