Dr. Christina Bui

Dr. Christina Bui is a comprehensive medical ophthalmologist with over 15 years of experience. She specializes in glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, dry eyes, and age‑related macular degeneration, and also manages eye infections, injuries, allergies, and meibomian gland dysfunction. Dr. Bui is dedicated to serving the San Antonio community, including more than a decade as a volunteer physician at I‑Care San Antonio/Haven for Hope, and she is a member of the Texas Medical Reserve Corps.

Dr. Bui completed her ophthalmology residency at Vanderbilt University, where she was awarded Best Resident in Research. She has published and presented research in glaucoma, pediatric ophthalmology, retina, and neuro‑ophthalmology. Her clinical background includes previous roles at Sudarshan Eye Experts, Ophthalmic Consultants of Texas, and San Antonio Eye Center.

In recognition of her compassionate care, Dr. Bui received the 2019 Women in Medicine Leadership Award. Outside of her practice, she enjoys spending time with her family, giving art and cooking lessons, and volunteering in the community.
