About Me
Christina Weeks, MD, is a fellowship-trained, board-certified pediatric ophthalmologist. She provides comprehensive eye care for children, treating conditions such as amblyopia, eye infections, trauma, tear drainage problems, cataracts, and eyelid abnormalities like ptosis. Dr. Weeks specializes in strabismus (eye misalignment) and performs eye muscle surgery. She also treats adults with strabismus, addressing ocular misalignment and double vision with both prisms and surgery.
Dr. Weeks earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia and her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. She completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Florida and a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite. Dr. Weeks is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and maintains memberships in the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus and the American Academy of Ophthalmology. She has been in practice since 2000.
