About Me
Dr. Phoebe Lenhart is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at Emory University School of Medicine, specializing in pediatric eye conditions and adult strabismus. She has been part of the Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus section since 2009, where she focuses on providing comprehensive care for children with complex eye diseases.
Her clinical expertise includes pediatric corneal conditions, keratoplasty, pediatric cataracts, and the management of strabismus in both children and adults. Dr. Lenhart is dedicated to global pediatric eye care and has been involved in teaching and surgical outreach in Sub-Saharan Africa since 2012. She also directs the Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus Fellowship at Emory, training the next generation of specialists. Board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, Dr. Lenhart actively contributes to research and has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals.
