Dr. Charles Zenzen

Dr. Zenzen is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist who specializes in cataract surgery. He has extensive experience treating a wide range of eye conditions, including glaucoma, dry eye, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, and disorders of the eyelids. Dr. Zenzen offers advanced cataract surgery techniques, including laser-assisted cataract surgery and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery during cataract procedures. He also has expertise in a variety of intraocular lens implants, including advanced technology lenses to correct astigmatism and near vision, helping patients reduce their dependence on glasses.

Dr. Zenzen earned his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine and completed his ophthalmology residency at the Kresge Eye Institute/Detroit Medical Center, where he served as chief resident. With 19 years in private practice and over 7,000 cataract surgeries performed, he brings extensive surgical experience to his patients. Dr. Zenzen also has a special interest in dry eye and previously served as director of the Ocular Surface Clinic. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a member of several professional societies.
