A native of Jackson, Mississippi, Dr. Woods began his education at Millsaps College where he graduated summa cum laude in mathematics. He completed both his residency and internship at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis. He is certified through the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a proud member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Woods went into private practice in 2004 and currently resides in Madison, Alabama with his family, where they continue developing deep roots in the local community.
