About Me
Dr. Heather Estopinal is a board-certified ophthalmologist practicing in Huntsville, Alabama. She graduated first in her class from Louisiana State University Medical School, where she earned several awards including the Kornberg Award for Medical Biochemistry and the Luis Perez Award for ophthalmology. Prior to her medical training, Dr. Estopinal served as an officer in the United States Air Force and completed coursework at Johns Hopkins University and the University of Maryland.
Dr. Estopinal completed her internship and residency in ophthalmology at The University of Mississippi Medical Center. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and holds memberships in the American Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgeons and the Christian Ophthalmology Society. Additionally, she serves on the board of KenyaRelief.org, supporting medical missions, and maintains medical licenses in Alabama and Mississippi.
