About Me
Dr. Catherine Jean Culp is a pediatric ophthalmology fellow who cares for children with the full range of eye conditions—from routine vision concerns to complex problems affecting alignment, focus, and development. She graduated summa cum laude from Case Western Reserve University with a BS in biochemistry and earned her medical degree at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Before residency, she completed an ophthalmic pathology and research fellowship at the John A. Moran Eye Center. She then finished ophthalmology residency at George Washington University and moved to the Pacific Northwest for pediatric subspecialty training at Moran.
At Seattle Children’s, Dr. Culp partners closely with families to create practical, kid-friendly care plans and clear follow-up. She strives to make visits comfortable, informative, and focused on what matters most—healthy eyes and confident vision for every child.
