Dr. Brittney Dautremont

Dr. Brittney A. Dautremont, DO, MPH is a board-certified ophthalmologist who blends advanced surgical care with a holistic, osteopathic perspective. She studied Biological Sciences at UC Santa Barbara, completed her medical degree at Touro University California College of Osteopathic Medicine—where she also earned a Master of Public Health—and served as chief resident during her ophthalmology residency at Ohio University Grandview Medical Center. After several years in community practice, she opened La Jolla Ophthalmology to offer personalized, technology-forward eye care for patients across San Diego.Dr. Dautremont specializes in modern cataract surgery using advanced lenses and lasers, and offers minimally invasive glaucoma surgery to reduce medication burden. She also performs upper eyelid blepharoplasty, pterygium excision, and a range of in-office laser procedures, while caring for dry eye and other common conditions. Known for clear communication and a warm bedside manner, she partners closely with each patient to explain options and tailor treatment to their goals.
