About Me
Dr. Brett Foxman is a vitreoretinal specialist with over 30 years of experience in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of diseases of the retina and vitreous. He treats conditions such as age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachments, macular holes, and epiretinal membranes. Dr.
Foxman completed his ophthalmology residency and fellowship in vitreoretinal disease at the Jules Stein Eye Institute, University of California, Los Angeles, and graduated from the Boston University Medical Honors Program. He previously served as Chief of the Division of Ophthalmology at Shore Medical Center for more than a decade and has been an active board member of the American Association of Retina Specialists. Dr. Foxman has also contributed to the field through academic publications, presentations, and a patented surgical device. He joined Mid Atlantic Retina in August 2025 following a merger with Retinal and Ophthalmic Consultants and sees patients at the practice's Northfield, New Jersey, location.
