About Me
Dr. Boris Dilman is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist who treats a broad spectrum of eye diseases, including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and cataracts. He has a special interest in LenSx laser-assisted cataract surgery with advanced technology intraocular lens implants, such as toric and multifocal lenses. Dr. Dilman also performs glaucoma laser surgery and has extensive experience treating blepharitis and dry eye syndrome.
Dr. Dilman graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Loyola University Chicago and received his medical degree from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine. He completed a surgical internship and ophthalmology residency training at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, where he served as chief resident and was published in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Dilman is on staff at Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital and enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and following Chicago sports.
