Dr. Beeran Meghpara

Beeran B. Meghpara, MD is the Co-Director of the Refractive Surgery Department and a fellowship-trained ophthalmologist specializing in cornea, cataract, and laser refractive surgery. His subspecialty focus is on cornea and refractive surgery, and he utilizes advanced technology for vision correction.

He has extensive experience with advanced technology intraocular lens implants that correct astigmatism and presbyopia. Dr. Meghpara performs all forms of corneal transplantation, including partial thickness DSAEK and DALK, and specializes in bladeless customized LASIK and phakic intraocular lens surgery. As an anterior segment specialist, he also treats corneal infections, ocular surface diseases such as dry eye, and glaucoma.

Dr. Meghpara is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and has been honored as a "Top Doctor" by Philadelphia magazine. During his medical education, he was selected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
