About Me
Dr. Arup Das is a medical retina physician and clinician-scientist at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in Albuquerque. He treats patients with diseases of the retina and vitreous, including diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, and retinal vascular diseases. He is experienced in providing care through intravitreal injections, laser procedures, and surgery.
With over 25 years of experience treating retinal conditions, Dr. Das combines his clinical practice with active research in retinal vascular biology and angiogenesis. His work has contributed to the development of new therapies for retinal diseases. He is a Regents' Professor of Ophthalmology and has been honored with awards including the Achievement Award from the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Gold Fellowship from the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology.
Dr. Das sees patients at the UNMH Ambulatory Care Center in Albuquerque and is dedicated to advancing the understanding and treatment of retinal disorders.
