Dr. April Moss

Dr. April Moss is an ophthalmologist in Bossier City who provides expert, comprehensive eye care for patients age 12 and older. She offers personalized care to help you feel comfortable, supported and confident in your vision health. Her services include routine eye exams, glasses prescriptions for better vision, monitoring for diabetes or blood pressure-related eye changes, and evaluation, treatment or surgery for common eye conditions such as cataracts.

Dr. Moss was born and raised in Metairie, Louisiana. Her interest in medicine began in high school, inspired by a biology class and a fascination with the complexity of the eye. She values the opportunity to build lasting relationships with her patients and is dedicated to helping you protect and preserve your eyesight.

She earned her Bachelor of Science from Louisiana State University Baton Rouge and completed her medical degree and ophthalmology residency at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center-Shreveport. Outside the clinic, Dr. Moss enjoys spending quality time with her husband and their dog, and she also enjoys running, gardening and exploring new restaurants in the Shreveport-Bossier City area.
